When one high school purchases a full-access subscription for its students, another school on our sponsored list receives full access at no charge. This program is integral to our mission to broaden access to the best educational resources for students, regardless of their zip codes.
Game Changer Give Back
Winward Academy donates one Game Changer package for ACT or SAT whenever that same package is purchased. Donations are made to Computers 2 SD Kids, a charity that provides 9,000 computers to San Diego students each year. It is the ultimate partnership in hardware and software to promote positive change.

College readiness is measured based on published benchmark standards defined by ACT and College Board. ACT's college readiness benchmarks are an 18 in English, 22 in Math, 22 in Reading, and 23 in Science. College Board's college readiness benchmarks are a 480 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and a 530 in Math.

Give Back to the Arts Program
While Winward Academy is focused on preparing students for core subjects - math, grammar, and reading - it's important to us to support local education initiatives that enable students to achieve a more holistic education by exploring their talents and creativity. So we partner with local public schools and give back 20% of our sales to their art, music, photography, technology, and physical education programs.
Carol Kimmelman Memorial Scholarship
Carol, a K-12 educator, always said her kids were born on third base sliding into home, and that the students she taught in South Central Los Angeles, who were equally deserving, smart, and hard-working, could go their entire lives without ever getting a chance at bat.
